ALL-P-P400 Pressure Transmitter
A compact stainless steel pressure transmitter with a local LCD display, for gauge, absolute and sealed pressure in liquids, gases and steam lines, with current, voltage or RS485 output.

Key Features of the ALL-P-P400 Pressure Transmitter
Piezoresistive measuring cell
Four diffused resistors on the silicon chip form a Wheatstone bridge. Pressure changes their resistance and the bridge gives a signal proportional to pressure.
The signal is amplified, linearised and temperature compensated.
316L isolating diaphragm
The process only touches the 316L stainless steel diaphragm and the stainless steel thread. Silicone oil carries the pressure to the chip.
Vacuum to 600 bar
Standard ranges from -100 to 0 kPa up to 0 to 60 MPa, for gauge, absolute (30 kPa to 1 MPa) and sealed pressure.
LCD with three keys
The display shows the pressure, percentage of range or mA output, with the board temperature on the second line. 19 pressure and level units can be selected.
Zero and range can be set on the keys.
Output to match the controller
2-wire 4 to 20 mA, 1 to 5 V, 0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V or RS485, with 4 to 20 mA and RS485 together on the display version.
Fast and stable
Response time of 10 ms or less on current and voltage outputs, and long-term stability of ±0.2% FS per year.

Download Data SheetHow does the ALL-P-P400 work?
Step by step:
Pressure on the chip changes the resistance of the four bridge arms, which unbalances the Wheatstone bridge. The electronics amplify that signal, correct it for non-linearity and temperature, and output a current or voltage proportional to the pressure.
Where the ALL-P-P400 is used
Typical applications for this pressure transmitter, from the manufacturer's documentation.
- 01Industrial process controlLine, vessel and pump discharge pressure in process plants.
- 02Petroleum and chemicalPressure of oils, fuels and process chemicals compatible with 316L stainless steel.
- 03Water and pumpingPump pressure, booster sets and water distribution, with local reading on the display.

From Selection to a Working Signal in Your Control System
A pressure transmitter is only as useful as the signal that reaches the control room. Proplant PCE handles the steps around the instrument as well as the instrument itself.

ALL-P-P400 FAQ
What pressure can the ALL-P-P400 measure?
Gauge, absolute and sealed pressure of liquids, gases and steam, from vacuum (-100 kPa) up to 60 MPa (600 bar) depending on the range ordered.
How accurate is it?
It is available in 0.5%, 0.25% and 0.2% accuracy classes. The 0.25% and 0.2% classes are for ranges of 100 kPa and above.
What outputs are available?
2-wire 4 to 20 mA, 1 to 5 V, 0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V or RS485. The display version can also give 4 to 20 mA and RS485 together.
Can it be used on steam?
Yes, with a condensation bend (siphon) so that condensate, not live steam, reaches the diaphragm. The medium temperature at the transmitter must stay within -20 to 85 °C.
What happens if the pressure exceeds the range?
The transmitter withstands 150% of full scale on ranges up to 10 MPa and 125% on ranges from 10 to 60 MPa. Choose a range that covers the highest pressure, including spikes.
Is it suitable for hazardous areas?
No. The ALL-P-P400 is for non-hazardous areas. Ask us for an approved transmitter if you need one for a classified area.
Can Proplant PCE help me choose the range?
Yes. Send us the medium, normal and maximum pressure, temperature, connection and output, and we will recommend the range and options.
